Ob/Gyn Sonographer Job

WellStar Medical Group GME is seeking an Ob/Gyn Sonographer to join the ultrasound department on a day shift basis. This is a 91-day travel position offering you hands-on clinical experience in obstetric and gynecological imaging.

Schedule and Compensation

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 5 days per week with flexibility to meet department needs
• Weekly pay: $2,072
• 91-day assignment starting June 9, 2026

Role Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to department protocols
• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete patient clinical history
• Review ultrasound images to ensure clinically acceptable results
• Maintain equipment calibration and operating standards
• Complete patient charging activities on the day of service
• Take call when necessary
• Participate in orientation and training of departmental staff

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Ob/Gyn sonography
• Successful completion of a Sonography Training Program
• High School Diploma or GED
• ARDMS Registered Medical Sonographer or ARRT-S Sonography certification required
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required upon hire
• Epic experience required
• Hands-on experience with Samsung ultrasound units required
