<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Tele Neuro</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Care for 25-bed Med Surg Neuro unit on 4th Floor North with 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratios<br>• Every other weekend requirement with 2-3 holiday shifts required from Thanksgiving to New Years<br>• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue assignment<br>• Two days of unit-specific orientation provided<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS<br>• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs for RNs<br>• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities<br>• Driver&#39;s license required at submittal for radius verification<br>• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove leads to contract termination<br>• Travel experience preferred but will consider strong candidates without<br>• No license or background hits accepted<br>• Float to other medical surgical areas or units with MedSurg patients as needed<br>• Care for Med Surg/Tele patients including joint replacements, fractures, colon resections, COPD exacerbation, prostatectomy, cellulitis, sepsis, ortho trauma, GI bleeds, pneumonia, and failure to thrive<br>• Titrate heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine drips; manage PCA pumps<br>• Work with diverse patient populations including Spanish, Karen, and Burmese speaking patients<br>• Use EPIC charting system<br>• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This Level 1 trauma center is a leading academic medical facility providing comprehensive acute care services.
