Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy GI

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday with shift times of 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM or 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call requirements for weekday, weekend, and holiday rotation with 30-minute call response time
• Shifts typically start at 6:30 AM for 7:00 AM procedure starts
• Work in a 6-suite procedural unit handling 30+ cases per day
• Common cases include colonoscopy, EGD, esophageal dilation, ERCP, EUS, food bolus, and GI bleed
• Working knowledge of all GI-related procedures required
• Procedural knowledge of all GI-related cases required
• Charge nurse takes an assignment each shift; techs and nurse aides available in the department
• Six-week working schedule with time-off requests handled by charge nurse at least two weeks prior to schedule posting
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• One week of unit-specific orientation provided for travelers
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Royal blue or navy blue
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
