Med Surg RN Job in Arcata, CA

You will work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit at Mad River Community Hospital in Arcata, California. This is a 91-day travel assignment ideal for nurses seeking flexibility and competitive compensation.

Position Overview

You will provide direct patient care on a Med Surg adult unit, supporting patients through medical and surgical treatments. Your role includes clinical assessment, medication administration, patient education, and coordination with the interdisciplinary care team.

Shift and Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed weekly

Compensation and Duration

• $85 per hour
• $1,755 weekly pay
• 91-day assignment
• Assignment start date: August 10, 2026

Required Credentials

• Active California nursing license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
