Endoscopy Technician

Opportunity:

Endoscopy Tech - GI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 1.0 FTE position consists of four 10-hour shifts per week
• At least 1 year of previous GI tech experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) via HSPA Certificate
• Assist in procedure rooms with patient positioning and specimen collection
• Perform bedside precleaning of scopes, scope setup and breakdown
• Handle restocking responsibilities
• Work with common cases including EGDs, colonoscopies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies
• May assist in gastric lab with esophageal motility studies if experienced
• Work in 4 procedure suites, 1 gastric lab, and 1 HRA room
• Ratio of 1 GI tech per room
• Procedural scrubs provided onsite
• No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• Rare floating possible to Federal Way, Bellevue, or Lynnwood
• Orient with experienced GI tech until competency is proven
• Use Cerner charting system
• Cancellation policy allows 3 shifts per 13-week contract
