Adult Echo Technologist Cardiac Sonographer Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Allied Health Professional with cardiac sonography expertise for a travel position at Arthur M. Blank Hospital in Atlanta, GA. This 89-day assignment begins September 28, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work as a Cardiac Sonographer within the Noninvasive Cardiology unit, performing adult echocardiography and related diagnostic imaging. Your schedule runs 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. You will float between units as needed to support patient care demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures on adult patients
• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment according to protocol
• Document patient information and scan findings accurately
• Communicate results to supervising physicians
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Cardiac Sonography
• Pediatric Cardiac Sonography experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ARDMS certification
• Skills checklist matching specialty requirements
• Resume documenting prior travel healthcare experience
