ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Day shift position with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend commitment required
• No call requirements
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• EKG test required
• Must wear navy scrubs; hoodies and non-facility sweatshirts are not acceptable attire
• Care for patients in a 30-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3
• Must have experience with comprehensive assessment skills, care of septic patients, and care of mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Preferred experience includes CRRT and Epic EMR
• Patient population includes sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psych disorders
• Work with equipment including Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000
• Use Epic EMR system
• Floating required to other inpatient areas when home unit is low census
• Ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude, flexibility, and empathy
