CVOR RN Charge Nurse Job in Wichita, KS

Join Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Charge RN. This is a 91-day travel assignment offering day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, five days per week, with a 1:1 patient ratio.

Position Requirements:

• Current, active Kansas RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of hospital CVOR RN experience as a charge nurse
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Prior Meditech/CPN EMR experience preferred

About the Role:

You will manage cardiovascular surgical cases including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR procedures. Your experience with open heart and cardiovascular surgery is essential. On-call duties consist of one weeknight per week and one weekend per month—no regular night shifts. You will communicate effectively with surgical teams and staff, prioritize patient experience, and demonstrate the confidence and teamwork necessary in a high-acuity surgical environment.
