About this role
CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St Elizabeth Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time travel position in Beaumont, TX. This is a 91-day assignment starting July 27, 2026, offering $3,231 weekly pay on a 4x10 day shift schedule.
Schedule and Expectations
- Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
- Remain past 5:00 PM until all cases are seen and finished for the day
- Weekend and on-call availability required
- Flexibility to work other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed
Core Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures
- Provide support for other imaging technologists to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
- Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance activities
- Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS; ability to follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser
- Resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system
- Observe radiation, personnel, and patient safety measures at all times
- Maintain radiation safety protocol while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
- Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by licensure
- Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and developmental needs of each patient
Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within scope of licensure
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
- Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification by ARRT or NMTCB
- Texas state licensure (MRT by TMBB)
- BLS certification (AHA only)
- Basic computer experience
- 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred
