RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week
• No weekend requirements
• No call responsibilities
• No holiday requirements
• Varied work schedule
• Must possess current, valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in specialty area within past 12 months required
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement comprehensive nursing care plans utilizing assessment data
• Provide direct patient care in endoscopy setting
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Delegate appropriately and provide supervision to other nursing staff
• Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to endoscopy specialty
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, reaching frequently and ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
