Cath Lab Technologist Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work day shifts on a 4x10 schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities averaging 9–10 shifts per month plus one weekend shift monthly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform scrubbing and monitoring duties in the cardiac catheterization lab
• Maintain sterile technique during a range of procedures: angiograms, PCI, complex cases (CTO, left main, PFO), device implants, PE thrombectomy, interventional radiology cases, and peripheral procedures
• Monitor and record patient data using the MacLab system (training provided)
• Operate and manage Impella and IABP equipment
• Provide STEMI coverage as required
• Maintain product knowledge and restock procedure rooms

Required qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification (RCIS certifications are not accepted)
• Proven cardiac cath lab experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Structural heart procedure experience

You will document clinical information in the Cerner electronic medical record system. Dress code is any solid-color scrubs. This is a straightforward, hands-on role in an active cath lab environment where your technical expertise and attention to detail directly support complex cardiac interventions.
