CVOR Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

You'll work as a Cardiovascular OR Technologist at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 21, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,483.71.

Schedule and Environment

• 4x10 hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 1 call shift per week and 1 full weekend per month required
• Float to general procedures when CVOR is not busy
• 23 operating rooms and 1 procedure room handling elective and emergency surgeries

Your Role

You'll support cardiovascular procedures involving adult and pediatric patients. You'll be expected to manage complex cases including CABG, TAVR, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System procedures, hybrid OR cases, and trauma surgeries. You'll maintain aseptic technique, handle equipment documentation, apply laser safety protocols, and ensure adherence to universal protocol procedures.

Requirements

• 2 years of surgical tech experience required
• Travel experience mandatory
• Current NY state license (must be in hand before submission)
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience is a hard requirement
• Must be located more than 75 miles from the facility

Pre-Start

You'll complete pre-start modules (billable up to 5 hours). First-time travelers are accepted.

You must hold a current Allied Health Professional credential and demonstrate proficiency in all required technical and safety competencies.
