Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technology experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Local candidates will not be accepted
• Prepare the operating room including the sterile field
• Set up surgical equipment, supplies and solutions
• Pass instruments, fluids and supplies to the surgeon during surgery
• Prepare and manage surgical equipment
• Manage the sterile field and specimens simultaneously
• Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects
• Must be certified following successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program
• Must pass the national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
