Cath Lab Technologist Job in Lafayette, IN

IU Health Arnett Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts with guaranteed 40 hours per week, earning $3,110.40 weekly.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with cardiac stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
• Maintain sterile field and support specialized cardiac interventions
• Operate Siemens X-Ray System and other specialized equipment
• Support STEMI procedures and electrophysiology (EP) device cases

Schedule & On-Call:

• 4x10 day shifts with 20 hours of orientation provided
• On-call required: 10–12 shifts per month with 30-minute response time
• Call shifts run 12–14 hours, beginning at shift completion or 5pm if not working that day
• Must work 1 winter holiday and 2 out of 3 major holidays

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
• Strong experience with interventional procedures and STEMI cases
• Comfortable with EP devices
• Current certifications: ARRT(R), ACLS, BLS
• Allied Health Professional credential

Preferred Experience:

• Ablations, peripheral interventions, and upper and lower extremity procedures

Additional Details:

• Two catheterization lab rooms available
• Floating required within hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals
