Radiation Therapist Job in Arlington, VA

Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment with potential to extend 3–6 months. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, on a five 8-hour shift schedule at $3,024 per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments using the Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
• Manage a daily caseload of 30–40 patients per day
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging and dosimetry assessment
• Execute IMRT and Electron Beam Therapy protocols
• Deliver specialty treatments including Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold for Left Breast, Heterotopic Bone, Superior Vena Cava, Gynecomastia, and Prophylactic treatments
• Provide care for specialty conditions including Keloids and Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials
• Document treatment in ARIA systems (Epic experience preferred)

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• Virginia state license (temporary VA license accepted)
• ARRT (T) certification
• BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
• Proficiency in CBCT/kV/mV imaging and dosimetry systems
• Experience with specialty treatment modalities and cancer protocols listed above
