Oncology RN Job in Towson, MD

Greater Baltimore Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary position in Oncology. This is a full-time role working 5x8 days on a rotating schedule. The assignment is for 84 days, beginning December 8, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,275.20.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Deliver specialized oncology nursing care appropriate to patient needs and developmental status
• Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies with precision and clinical judgment
• Account for the quality of nursing services delivered independently and in team settings
• Utilize oncology-specific skills and knowledge to support optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Current Maryland nursing license with Nursys verification (must be less than 30 days old)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent infusion and chemotherapy experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• CHEMO certification and BLS (AHA) provider card
• ONS/ONCC Certificate and Provider Card (must be willing to obtain if offered)
• Completion of oncology-specific skills checklist

Schedule Details:

On-call and weekend assignments will be determined by the facility. You must be flexible and willing to accommodate the facility's scheduling needs. Candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be considered for this role.
