MRI Technologist Job in Morgantown, WV

Join WVU JW Ruby Memorial Hospital as an MRI Technologist on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week—no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements—with shifts scheduled between 6:45 AM and 7:15 PM, Monday through Friday.

In this role, you'll operate as a mobile MRI unit technologist for the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute, often working as the sole technologist in a single-scanner department. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing brain, spine, MRA, body (abdomen, pelvis, chest), and MSK (long bone, joints) imaging studies
• Managing an average of 14 scans per day
• Starting and administering IVs as required
• Operating Siemens MRI equipment with proficiency
• Utilizing EPIC charting and Fuji PACS for imaging management
• Communicating effectively with physicians regarding scan protocols and findings

Requirements: You must hold current BLS certification (AHA), ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and a West Virginia MRI license. Grey scrubs are required; please note that scrubs are not provided by the facility.

Assignment Details: This is a 91-day assignment beginning August 24, 2026. You'll earn $2,692 per week. The cancellation policy allows for two shift cancellations per 13-week assignment (or one cancellation for assignments shorter than 13 weeks).
