CVOR Technologist Job in New London, NH

New London Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CVOR Technologist) for a temporary assignment in the operating room. This role operates on a 4x10 day shift schedule and is available for 91 days, beginning August 31, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Function primarily in a scrubbing capacity, with possible assistance in circulating duties within the surgical suite
• Maintain aseptic technique and provide a quiet environment during surgical procedures
• Participate in OR suite preparation and use specialized equipment and supplies for specific surgical procedures
• Demonstrate high proficiency in Neuro, Ortho, and Total Joints procedures—this is non-negotiable
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities and weekend scheduling as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current CST experience
• Current scrubbing experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, and Endo procedures
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NBSTSA certification
• NH Medical Technician Registration Certificate
• Skills checklist for Certified Surgical Tech, current within one year
• At least 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment (2 preferred)
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for this assignment
• Permanent address on file

Important Terms

• All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application; requests made after an offer may result in the offer being rescinded
• Weekend and holiday coverage is required; holiday RTO is not available
• RTO must be very limited; none is preferred

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,160
