CT Technologist Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging team. You will work Monday through Thursday from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM with no on-call responsibilities.

In this role, you will:

• Create diagnostic images using computed tomography equipment while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care
• Perform CT exams on diverse patient populations, including trauma, emergency room, outpatient, inpatient, intensive care, research, and specialized CT-guided procedure patients
• Support clinical evaluation in a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment
• Enforce radiation safety measures in compliance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Contribute to a culture of continued learning as imaging technology evolves

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• High school diploma or equivalent
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York State
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification

This is an entry-level position with MIT level assigned based on your skill set and experience. You will earn $3,212 weekly on a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 13, 2026.
