Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Lawton, OK

You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist on the surgical team at Memorial Health in Lawton, Oklahoma. This is a 91-day travel assignment with evening shifts, 5 days per week, 8 hours per shift. You will earn $1,460 per week. Your start date is April 27, 2026.

Your responsibilities:

• Assist in patient care delivery as a member of the surgical team before, during, and after surgery under the direction of a Registered Nurse
• Participate in and implement age-specific care and interaction for patients
• Maintain current competencies and certifications required for the role
• Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical errors
• Ensure correct site procedure, correct counts, fire safety checks, and that all equipment and supplies are available and ready for patient procedures
• Provide and maintain a sterile atmosphere before and during all surgical procedures
• Open instruments and supplies following established procedures to maintain a sterile field
• Set up and maintain a sterile field before and during procedures while remaining aware of all staff in the operating room suite and their impact on the sterile environment
• Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts
• Clean operating rooms according to established procedures
• Perform safe passing of instruments and sharps to and from the surgeon and field, minimizing potential for injury or exposure

Requirements: Current Certified Surgical Technologist certification is required.
