SLP Job in Canton, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an 89-day travel assignment at Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, GA, beginning May 18, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with variations
• Weekend requirements: minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks; 4 weekends per 4 weeks preferred
• Weekly pay: $2,036.70
• Duration: 13 weeks

Your Role

You will provide speech-language pathology services to acute care patients across the hospital, working from physician orders to support a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. Your patient population will include ICU patients and those with stroke, neurological conditions, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive issues.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience within SLP specialty
• Current Georgia SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• AHA BLS certification
• Prior acute care experience is highly desirable

Preferred Skills

• Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) or Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) proficiency

This is a travel position; only candidates located more than 50 miles from Canton, GA will be considered.
