RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required approximately one evening per week and every 4th weekend with a 30-minute response time
• STEMI call required
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital is required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• EP (Electrophysiology) experience strongly preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Patients include adults and geriatric age groups
• Perform and assist with a wide range of cardiac and interventional procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, ablations, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and pacemaker insertion
• Assist with implant procedures including ICDs and permanent pacemakers (PPM)
• Structural heart procedures including TAVR and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO)
• Interventional radiology and peripheral vascular procedures including ports, drains, biopsies, central lines, thrombectomy, PCI, and dialysis access
• Pre/post procedure area responsibilities including bedside TEEs and cardioversions
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Work with specialized equipment including IABP, IVUS, temporary pacers, Shockwave, Crosser, Laser, Angiojet, Siemens labs, and Abbott & Carto mapping systems for EP
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
