Telemetry RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a Telemetry position at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 6, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Telemetry
• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; no on-call
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing
• Weekly pay: $2,312.64

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided in Epic
• Assess patient learning needs and provide education to patients and families
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families

Requirements

• RN license in Louisiana or compact state
• Minimum 1–2 years nursing experience
• Minimum 6 months telemetry experience
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
• Epic experience required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred

Onboarding

• New Nurses Orientation required within first 30 days of hire
• Annual competency verification required

This temporary assignment offers the possibility of conversion to permanent employment. You will join a full-time team caring for cardiac and telemetry patients in an established healthcare facility.
