Job Details:

• Day shift position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM
• No on-call, no weekends, and no holidays required
• Required certifications: ARRT, ARDMS, and current BLS
• Must maintain current compliance with continuing medical education (CME)
• Must be able to work independently performing ultrasound general exams including Abdomens, OB, GYN, Breast, and Vascular/Arterials
• Ability to evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic information to referring physicians and radiologists
• Assumes responsibility for the safety and well-being of all patients in the Imaging Department
• Responsible for troubleshooting ultrasound equipment and effectively communicating with service engineers for repairs
• Ability to perform general diagnostic radiology procedures
• Willingness to cross train into other imaging modalities
• Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties including scheduling patients
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and the health care team
• Must follow established departmental procedures
