CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• 7 on / 7 off schedule with two shift options: 4x10 hour shifts from 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM or 3x12 hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required - every other weekend if on 3x12 or 4x10 schedule; every third weekend if on 5x8 schedule
• If a workday falls on a holiday, it is required to work that holiday
• Float between emergency department, main campus, outpatient, and clinics within walking distance of main campus
• ED, inpatient, and outpatient experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Must be located more than 65 miles from facility (address on driver's license to site address)
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT) and BLS (AHA)
• Louisiana State RT license or compact license required and must be in hand upon submittal
• Epic EMR experience required
• GE equipment experience required
• Skills required include: 3D rendering, abdomen/chest/head CT with and without contrast, brain perfusion, carotid, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, emergency department procedures, enterography, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, pediatric and adult care, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, vascular CTA, venipuncture, and additional advanced imaging procedures
• Patient ratio of 1:1 across days, nights, and weekends
• 16 orientation hours required
• Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
