ICU Registered Nurse Job in Cartersville, GA

Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 21-bed ICU. You will work 3x12 night shifts on an every-other-weekend schedule with no call responsibilities. This is a travel position lasting 84 days, starting June 29, 2026, with weekly pay of $1,918.08.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of ICU experience
• EPIC experience (required)
• Active GA or Compact nursing license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Role Details:

You will care for adult and geriatric patients with a 2:1 patient ratio on days, nights, and weekends. Your responsibilities include arterial line management, ventilator care, central line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, and vasoactive drip titration. You may float within the facility as needed within your scope of practice.

Schedule & Time Off:

Maximum of 7 days RTO (rest time off) per contract. The unit observes major holidays including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day. Holiday work requirements depend on how many fall during your assignment: work 1 if 1 falls during the contract, both if 2 fall, or 2 of 3 if all 3 fall.

The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support through Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy. The unit accepts first-time travelers and offers bi-weekly orientation.
