Operating Room RN Job in Grants, NM

Cibola General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Grants, New Mexico. This is a 91-day travel assignment running Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with call every 3rd day and weekend coverage on a rotating schedule.

Role Overview

You will work in a high-volume OR environment handling 6–8 cases daily. Your responsibilities include circulating cases and performing cesarean section support. The case mix includes:

• 96% GI endoscopy and EGD procedures
• 2–4 orthopedic cases
• 1–3 general surgeries
• 2–3 podiatry procedures
• 2–3 obstetric and gynecology cases

Requirements

You must hold a current New Mexico state nursing license and possess the following certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS. A minimum of 2 years of operating room experience is required. Proficiency with CERNER EHR/EMR systems is necessary. You will need to provide 2 professional references in your specialty as part of the application process.

Assignment Details

This position maintains a 1:1 patient-to-provider ratio in the operating room. You should be prepared to stay late when surgical cases require extended time. The assignment is 91 days, starting June 22, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,428.80.
