Physical Therapist Job in Devils Lake, ND

You will work as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting at Altru Hospital - Devils Lake. This 13-week contract offers a predictable schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend coverage required. You will have 40 guaranteed hours per week and earn $3,024 weekly.

Your role includes evaluating and treating patients in compliance with licensure standards, with most referrals coming from orthopedics following procedures or injuries, as well as patients with back and neck pain. You will also see a variety of outpatient cases, including some neurological patients, and provide some in-clinic inpatient coverage at the connected CHI hospital.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and implement intervention plans using effective and meaningful methods
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to support patient-directed goals
• Provide patient and family education under therapist supervision
• Supervise therapy assistants and other aides in a collaborative manner
• Document patient information, progress, and discharge plans appropriately
• Meet third-party payer requirements with proper documentation

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in physical therapy
• Current North Dakota Physical Therapy License
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Epic experience
• Recent travel healthcare experience, preferably 3 completed assignments
