CT Technologist Job in Austell, GA

Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a day shift position in Austell, GA. You will perform computed tomography scans and related imaging procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call availability required as needed
• Duration: 91 days
• Weekly pay: $2,368
• Start date: June 1, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up CT equipment and position patients for imaging procedures
• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history from patients
• Administer contrast media according to established protocols
• Review CT and radiographic images to ensure clinical acceptability
• Perform venipuncture and power injection operations as required
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices
• Transport and position patients, assisting with table transfers
• Demonstrate sterile technique and appropriate pre/post-procedural care
• Operate all workstations within the CT department
• Work flexibly to meet department needs while maintaining excellent communication

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional degree with completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a team environment
