ICU RN Job in Albany, GA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a 20-bed Intensive Care Unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. This is a 119-day travel assignment with a start date of July 6, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend rotation
• Weekly pay: $2,203.20
• Cancellation policy allows 12 hours off every 2 weeks
• Must remain within a 75-mile radius

Clinical Responsibilities

• Care for diverse patient populations including neuro patients with brain drains, ortho trauma requiring traction, and cardiovascular patients
• Manage specialized cardiovascular devices including balloon pumps, impellas, and ekos
• Provide post-operative care for open-heart CABG patients
• Handle open abdomen cases from the OR that may be re-opened at bedside
• Operate CRRT machines at bedside for renal patients
• Support future ECMO program planned to launch this summer
• Provide ICU overflow care when sister units reach capacity
• Patient ratios: 2:1 standard, 1:1 for higher acuity patients

Requirements and Preferences

• Current RN license
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Experience in ICUs or STICUs at level 1–2 trauma centers preferred
• Proficiency with MEDITECH charting system
• BSN not required
