Electrophysiology Technician

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Shifts are 8-10 hours, 5 days per week
• Every other weekend coverage required
• On-call up to 3 times per week with every other weekend call rotation and weekday call rotation
• Must reside and respond within 30 minutes for on-call shifts
• Average daily census of 6 patients
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Travel experience required
• Must be proficient in embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants including ports, pacemakers, and ICDs
• Must be skilled in Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
• Must be experienced in STEMI care with focus on FTB/DTB under 60 minutes
• Must be capable of performing peripheral and EP procedures
• Must be able to function independently and expertly perform all CCL procedures
• Must be a team player with a patient-first mindset and willingness to share knowledge and assist colleagues
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), CCI RCIS, and Louisiana state license (LSRTBE)
