Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional Saturday shifts
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in both a Wellness Center and Mobile Mammography Van
• Travel to various sites throughout the Bronx as part of the Mobile Mammography Van program
• Demonstrate competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning to consistently produce radiologic images of diagnostic quality
• Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations
• Demonstrate proficiency in operation of all x-ray equipment, CR and DR systems
• Utilize Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS
• Administer oral contrast as needed per exam
• Use 2 patient identifiers prior to beginning any exam
• Apply ALARA safety principles and maintain radiation safety standards at all times
• Practice aseptic technique, isolation, and infection control procedures
• Must provide all credentials and numbers required by MQSA
• Must demonstrate competency in providing healthcare services to all age groups
