Respiratory Therapist Job in Glens Falls, NY

Glens Falls Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment working nights. You will provide comprehensive respiratory care across all hospital departments, supporting inpatients and outpatients of all ages with cardiopulmonary conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform cardiopulmonary evaluations and administer respiratory care protocols
• Manage life support equipment and provide patient and family education
• Follow established protocols and physician prescriptions for respiratory care
• Deliver respiratory care duties throughout all hospital areas
• Work with critical care patients requiring advanced respiratory support

Position details:

• Schedule: 3x12 nights
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 25, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,332.80
• Location: Glens Falls, NY

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited respiratory care program
• New York state respiratory therapist license
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NBRC RRT
• EPIC experience (required for consideration)
• Labor & Delivery/Neonatal Resuscitation experience
• Critical care proficiency
• Skills checklist current within the last 12 months
• One supervisory signed reference from the past two years

Additional requirements:

• Complete training from Welle or CPI for onboarding and clearance
• Permanent address must match driver's license or state ID
• Weekend schedule and on-call responsibilities to be determined

Candidates from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties in New York will not be considered.
