About this role

Tide Health Group - Tiffany Heights is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a long-term care position in Mound City, Missouri. This is a 91-day temporary assignment working day shifts, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.

Position Overview

You will provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Your work will be grounded in evidence-based practice and focused on supporting patients' functional independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device training
  • Assess patient progress and collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Document all treatment information and clinical requirements in the electronic documentation system
  • Accurately record treatment minutes for all services provided according to regulatory and clinical standards
  • Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
  • Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation team meetings
  • Work with the supervising Occupational Therapist to identify and obtain necessary durable medical equipment and supplies
  • Supervise and support students under guidance of the Occupational Therapist
  • Attend required facility and company trainings, in-services, and conferences

Requirements

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Active Missouri state licensure and registration
  • Minimum 1 year of OTA experience
  • Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
  • Adherence to NBCOT and AOTA practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards

Compensation and Schedule

Weekly pay is $1,584. No on-call or weekend requirements. Assignment begins June 8, 2026.
