Job Details:

• 8-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week (no guaranteed hours during first 2 weeks of contract)
• 13-week contract
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback responsibilities
• Float to units with alike skillset as needed
• Prepare, assemble, maintain, and transport surgical trays, instruments, and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing
• Work attire: Ceil Blue scrubs
• EMR system: EPIC
• Required certifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
• 2+ years of experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience with Flexible Scopes, Medivator, Robotic Davinci, Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma required
• Equipment used includes Steam Autoclaves, Plasma Sterilizers, Peracetic Acid Sterilizers, Biological Incubators, Mechanical Automated Instrumentation Washers and Cart Washers, Instrumentation Management Software, Materials Requirements Supply Chain Software, and electronic email
• Moderate to extreme physical effort required including walking, standing, squatting, reaching, pushing (up to 100 lbs.), pulling, lifting materials and equipment, and occasionally climbing step stools and ladders
• Lifting may be heavy and awkward, over 50 lbs.
