Registered Nurse - ER @ Cone Health - Alamance Regional Medical Center

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Occasionally may work 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM shifts if needed
• Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, first time travelers accepted
• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 180 visits per day in a 58-room/58-bed emergency department
• Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health patients
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Subject to float to any campus if needed
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Compliance deadline: 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
