Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2 years of respiratory care experience required
• NICU and/or PICU experience required (hard stop requirement)
• Required certifications: BCLS, RRT, NRP, PALS
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be comfortable with pediatric patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
• Work in Level 1 trauma facility and emergency department
• Skills required include aerosol setups, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, ventilator management and weaning, arterial blood gas interpretation, intubation assistance, and tracheostomy care
• Experience with specialized equipment including servo ventilators, nitric oxide, and high frequency oscillators
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Scrub color: Any or facility-provided t-shirts/jackets
• 36-hour orientation provided
• Maximum 2 RTO requests allowed with no RTO during first week
• Will not float outside of scope
