CDU RN Job in Augusta, GA

You'll work as an RN in the Clinical Decision Unit at Doctors Hospital - Augusta GA, providing direct patient care in a focused acute-care setting. This is a travel position with a 91-day duration, starting September 28, 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in a 12-bed Clinical Decision Unit
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6
• Collaborate with one Patient Care Technician per 12 patients
• Document patient information and care activities in Meditech
• Work the night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required

Unit Details

The Clinical Decision Unit is a fast-paced environment where you'll assess and manage acute patients who require observation and decision-making for admission or discharge. With a structured patient ratio and PCT support, you'll have the resources to provide quality care. Note that there is no unit coordinator on staff, so team coordination falls to the nursing team.

• Weekly pay: $1,759
• Shift: 3×12 nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Duration: 91 days
• Facility dress code: Royal blue scrubs
