Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment on the 4 North Medical/Surgical unit
• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required with at least every other weekend worked
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratios: 1:5 during day shift and 1:6 during night shift
• Unit operates with 32 beds and a collaborative team including charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs
• Perform all surgical procedures with experience in kidney transplants preferred
• Work with equipment including Welch Allyn vital signs machines, i-Mobile iPhones for communications, and radio with headsets
• EMR system: Meditech
• Scrub color requirement: Navy
• Medical/Surgical experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with transplants, dialysis patients, and diabetic patients preferred
• Team player who takes initiative preferred
