Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 or 4x12 day shifts starting at 7:00 AM on weekdays with every other weekend required
• 36 or 48 hour contract options available with 36 hours guaranteed
• Care for pre/post operative surgical cardiovascular patients, medical cardiac patients requiring progressive care and monitoring, vascular patients, amputation patients, and detox patients
• Patient ratio is 1:4 with a stretch ratio of 1:5; LPNs also work the unit and may require coverage
• Float within scope to similar units as needed to meet facility needs
• Blocked schedule requests can be accommodated
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; MAB preferred
• Required skills: IV start, telemetry, PCU/IMC, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care and management, heparin protocols, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, PICC line management, titrating cardiac drips, wound care and wound vac
• Special procedures include: ostomies, chest tubes, wound vacs and wound care, CPAP/BiPAP, central lines, PICCs, and drips including heparin, aminophylline, Cardizem, nitroglycerin, and argatroban
• Scrub color: Royal Blue or White for RN
