OR Operating Room RN Job in Rhinelander, WI

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Aspirus Rhinelander, a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 1, 2026. This role offers a stable schedule with 8-hour day shifts, 40 guaranteed hours per week, and a weekly pay of $2,783.20.

Schedule and Responsibilities

• Work 5 days per week on day shifts
• Weekend and holiday call required once per week and every 5–6 weekends
• Call back minimum of 2 hours
• Subject to low census call-in periods; contract allows for up to 36 hours of low census unbillable hours

Facility Coverage

You must be willing to float to Aspirus Tomahawk, Eagle River, and Howard Young facilities as needed. Floating assignments can be prescheduled in advance.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience
• Associate degree or certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Operational Details

• Epic electronic health record system in use
• GSA benefits not applicable during orientation week
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times

This assignment provides hands-on OR nursing in a collaborative surgical environment with established protocols and team continuity.
