PCU RN Job in Vero Beach, FL

Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours or 8/10 hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours
• Minimum 2 years PCU experience required, ICU experience also needed
• First-time travelers accepted
• Float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• Block schedule not available
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic experience must be level 3 or 4, familiarity with cardiac drips required
• White scrubs required
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Complete 6-15 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
• Skills include telemetry, PCU/stepdown care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront with initial application
• Compliance documents due Monday prior to start date
• No pending certifications accepted
