Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - RRT PICU

Job Details:

• Work in PICU with patient ratios of 1:4 across all shifts
• 4 years of respiratory therapy experience required with adult ICU experience mandatory
• PICU, NICU, and Adult ICU experience strongly preferred
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Up to 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Float to multiple units within scope: CCU, Flex Unit, SDU, PEDS, PICU, PCU, FBS
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT
• Must have copy of NRP certification with submission or application will be rejected
• Work with high acuity population including Level 2 ER/PICU/NICU trauma patients
• Utilize specialized equipment including Servo U-V60 and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Document using Cerner charting system (EPIC preferred)
• 24-hour orientation with billable modules averaging 4-5 hours completed onsite
• Any color or pattern scrubs allowed
• Alaska license required prior to start (Compact accepted at time of submittal)
• COVID and flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
• Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted
