ICU RN Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for our Intensive Care Unit on the night shift. You will provide specialized nursing care for critically ill patients in a trauma Level One facility, working with patients requiring intensive monitoring and support.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Monitor and respond to changing patient conditions with rapid assessment and intervention
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members on patient care plans
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation in Epic
• Support trauma and surgical patients through critical phases of recovery

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU staff nursing experience in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU settings
• Experience with Trauma Level One patient populations
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission

Assignment Details:

• Location: Albany, NY
• Shift: 3x12 nights per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: May 18, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,628

Additional Information:

Navy blue scrubs are required. Candidates from certain counties are not eligible for this assignment as of January 11, 2024. You will work in a Level One trauma center providing care for neurological and surgical ICU patients in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
