Cath Lab Technologist Job in Albany, NY

You are a registered cardiac catheterization lab technician with advanced cardiovascular credentials, and Albany Medical Center is seeking your expertise for a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 15, 2025.

Role and Responsibilities

You will work in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic procedures. Your day-to-day work includes preparing equipment, assisting physicians during catheterization and coronary intervention procedures, monitoring patients, and maintaining strict adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols.

Schedule and Compensation

This is a day shift position: four 10-hour shifts per week. You will earn $2,774 per week. Call commitment includes one week of night shifts and one weekend per month.

Required Credentials and Certifications

• Current New York State registration or limited permit to practice in New York
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
• Advanced certification: ARRT-CV (Registered Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
