Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Chambersburg, PA

WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation services. You will work Monday through Friday on a 5x8 day shift with no weekend or on-call requirements, giving you predictable scheduling and work-life balance.

Position Details

• 13-week contract starting October 5, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,861
• Outpatient clinic-based role with no floating outside your immediate service area unless patient care requires it
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• May be expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Valid Pennsylvania or Compact PT license
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Epic charting system experience required

Your Responsibilities

You will treat patients across the lifespan—adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations—delivering evidence-based rehabilitation. Your daily work will include orthopedic care, gait training, therapeutic modalities, post-operative rehabilitation, and outpatient clinic procedures. You will function in a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.

This is a straightforward outpatient role with established patient volume and clear expectations. If you are a licensed PT with outpatient experience and current credentials, this contract offers stability and predictability during a 13-week placement.
