Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 48 hours per week on a 13-week contract
• Day shifts or day/night rotation only - no straight night shifts
• Work on a 36-bed adult surgical unit caring primarily for trauma and acute care surgical patients
• RN patient ratios: 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights
• LNA ratios: 1:12 per patient
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience required, preferably in a Level I Trauma Center or several years at a Level II Trauma Center
• Experience required with chest tubes, drips (Diltiazem, Heparin, Lasix, Insulin, Amiodarone), lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients, trachs/laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, and central lines including care, maintenance, and blood draws
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic trauma injuries, hernia repairs, small bowel obstructions, appendectomies, and cholecystectomies
• NH RN License or Compact License required (Proof of State Residency required)
• BLS certification required
