ED RN Job in Kealakekua, HI

You'll work as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Kona Community Hospital, a 15-bed ED with a 6-bed fast track unit. This role offers you the opportunity to care for patients of all ages and diverse populations in a dynamic acute-care setting.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the emergency department and fast track unit
• Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status throughout their ED stay
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions

Shift Details

Variable shifts are available, including days, evenings, and nights. You'll have flexibility in your schedule while meeting the operational needs of the department.

Assignment Length and Compensation

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026. You'll receive weekly pay of $2,628.

Requirements

• Current Hawaii nursing license required
• RN degree
