About this role

Three Rivers Hospital is seeking a Medical Lab Technician to join its laboratory team in Brewster, WA. You will work 4x10 day shifts over a 105-week travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026, earning $1,989 per week.

As a Medical Lab Technician, you will perform technical, clerical, and information systems procedures across multiple laboratory disciplines. Your responsibilities include:

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment for chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, and qualitative/quantitative analysis
  • Analyze laboratory findings and verify accuracy of all results
  • Prepare, set up, and analyze blood slides, tissue specimens, and human cells using microscopic techniques
  • Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids including blood, urine, and spinal fluid to identify normal and abnormal components
  • Identify abnormalities such as malignancies, bacteria, parasites, or genetic irregularities in samples
  • Perform specimen collection on patients of all ages, including venipuncture, capillary draws, and culturing procedures
  • Conduct blood typing and assist with routine blood tests, including cell count, morphology, blood group determination, and transfusion compatibility
  • Establish and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure laboratory result accuracy
  • Enter medical test data and clinical results into computer systems for storage and retrieval
  • Provide technical information about test results to physicians, family members, and researchers
  • Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and monitor scheduled maintenance needs
  • Instruct nursing staff on correct specimen collection methods
  • Organize work and manage time to complete technical tasks efficiently

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State MA-P License
  • Active Phlebotomist License
