<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Every other weekend requirement with holidays worked into rotation<br>• Patient ratio of 1:4 on 30-bed Medical Telemetry unit (T5)<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS<br>• Must have IV experience and ability to read EKGs<br>• Navy scrubs required<br>• Must have natural hair color with no facial piercings<br>• Men must be clean-shaven for fit test<br>• Must pass DYS exam prior to accepting position (2 attempts allowed)<br>• Pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation including SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes<br>• Must maintain sterile field competency<br>• 2-day floor-specific orientation required<br>• May float to any Med Surg/Tele floor<br>• Work with high acuity patients including gyn surgeries, pre-liver transplant, ESRD, cellulitis, pneumonia, diabetics, and DKA<br>• Use Cerner charting system and Phillips telemetry equipment<br>• Must have own vehicle for transportation<br>• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This Level 1 Trauma Center provides comprehensive acute care services with 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support.
